IWMC Roundtables 2020 Has Been Postponed

Dear IWMC participants,

I have been in contact with health professionals concerning whether or not we should postpone IWMC Roundtables 2020 in light of the coronavirus pandemic. A week ago, these professionals did not yet feel there was a need to postpone the gathering, but as they monitored the public health and travel situation globally and in the United States over the past week, they recommended a postponement would be in the interest of all concerned.

Subsequently, I reached out to the primary stakeholders in the conference including our hosts and title sponsor. We have concluded, unanimously, that we need to postpone the conference until May 12-14, 2021. Shiloh Community Church has agreed to host us at that time, and our major sponsors will stay with us.  Our conference staff will be reaching out to our speakers in the next few days, asking for their commitment as well for 2021.

This decision will cost the CHE Network about $50,000, but our first concern is to do what is right in the interest of all involved. We regret that this decision will force some of you to change travel plans and may have financial implications for you as well. We thank you for your understanding.

We have two options for those who have already paid your registration. (1) We will fully refund your registration, or (2) at your request, we will apply the funds as registration for the 2021 event. If you have registered and paid a registration fee please contact us to let us know what you prefer. We will take action when we hear from you.

God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. This coronavirus pandemic provides an opportunity for us to testify to our hope in a wholistic way, and to exhibit the peace and calm that flow from our faith in Christ.

Please put it on your calendar to join us, May 12-14, 2021 at Shiloh Community Church in Phoenix, Arizona. We will post updates and keep you informed of any changes in the program at www.wholisticmissions.com.

On behalf of IWMC organizers and sponsors, thank you again for your understanding.
